Great lesson - Yi was attentive, interesting, and provided valuable feedback on my language goals and progress.

I'd categorize the lesson as being on the dry side. Our introductory lesson focused on pronunciation. There were multiple moments throughout the lesson where I could not easily tell what was wanted of me as the student. I occasionally asked questions around intonation that I felt were answered insufficiently. I would not be surprised if Yi is a great teacher for more intermediate level students. However, speaking as a beginner, Yi felt ill-equipped with strategies for overcoming the hurdles I encountered with the lesson.
