The line graph compares seven countries in terms of nominal GDP per capita over the years of 1990 to 2023, measured in US dollars. Overall, the United States saw a strong upward trend throughout the period, whereas the figures of the others fluctuated on a moderate upward trend. Focusing on the figures in 2023 first, the US saw the highest nominal GDP per capita, in about US$82,000, which was over 50% higher than that of Canada. The second highest figure was seen in Canada, about US$54,000, closely followed by Germany with US$53,000. The UK, France, Italy and Japan came in third, fourth, fifth and last in the order, with the GDP per capita ranging from nearly US$50,000 to below US$35,000. Moving on to the changes during the decades next, the nominal GDP per capita of the US more than tripled from 1990 to 2022, starting from about US$24,000 to reaching US$82,000. This massive increase made a stark contrast to Japan's performance, which was the highest in 1990 at above US$25,000, ending up in the last with about US$34,000. Aside from the US, each country experienced fluctuation, typically showing a strong rise during 2001 to 2007 and a sudden fall in 2014.

The crowded library Libraries in China divides to the public and the campus' . Finding a seat in library could be very challenging. I have graduated from college for years, but going to libraries have always been common to me. It's easy to find a public library in a city. Libraries always look grand and beautiful. They are not only public infrastructures but also served as landmarks in their areas. From what I have visited, the public libraries in metropolis are always extraordinarily spacious and clean. They are closed to subway stations and malls. You literally can live in a public library if are allowed. Some of the libraries even provide oven for readers who would like to eat there. There are dining area provided. The collection of books is abundant, however, this is not the main factor why library is getting super popular. In my opinion, the readers in public libraries could be divided into three groups. The first is people who are looking for a nicer place for their study or work. Library creates a good atmosphere help people concentrate on things easily. The second is people who are looking for a nicer indoors occasion. Some people dislike being at home, or they aren't satisfied with their own home's infrastructures, so they come to libraries to kill time. In this group, some of them just sit on there and start playing phone games, or watching videos, some even sleep there. Library provides fast WiFi, water, fresh air, charging sockets, lamps, air conditioning, and comfortable seats. One can even save up for utility bills by just staying the whole day in a library. The third group is those real readers. However, they aren't commonly seen. Electronic reading is very popular and convenient. If people have a target book to read, they may read directly on their phone. Or, they may come to library borrow the book, it's unnecessary for them to find a seat. There are people prefer random reading or exploring books as well. +

Some people think it is important to have breakfast everyday, while others believe skipping breakfast is advantageous. Discuss both views and give your opinion. There are two schools of thought about the importance of breakfast; one views it as the foundation of health, whereas the others argue that people benefit from skipping breakfast. Both opinions have compelling arguments and studies, and I think the conclusion will vary for each indivudual, depending on their preference. Advocates for breakfast regard breakfast as indispensable for a healthy lifestyle. First, it provides necessary calories for daily activities. Without it, people would experience lack of energy, drowsiness or lost of concentration. Similarly, nutrition from breakfast helps maintain body functions. Studies have shown that humans' body takes in nutrients most in the morning because digestion become less active at night. On the other hand, critics of breakfast often refer to intermittent fasting. Scientists say fasting for 12-16 hours optimises body functions, leading to improved wakefulness, healthy weight loss and removal of harmful substance. Skipping breakfast nicely meets the fasting requirement. My uncle have substituted breakfast with coffee for years and never caught a cold. Another advantage of skipping breakfast is to save time in the busy morning. People can sleep longer instead of preparation and cleaning up. Both views are evenly reasonable, and in my opinion, which works better depends on one's inner clock. Studies have revealed that early birds and night owls are innate characteristics. When somebody has a nocturnal chronotype, they may feel no appetite in the morning. It seems biologically correct for people to listen to their bodies, which tell them when to eat. In conclusion, it is hard to determine whether skipping breakfast is good or bad, and it boils down to the question of personal preference.
