It's around the table and in the preparation of food that we learn about ourselves and about the world. Amadombolo are traditional South African dumplings. Popular with AmaZulu, they were usually reserved for large traditional family gatherings. However, my mom occasionally surprises us with a hearty stew of amadombolo served as a treat on cold winter days, like today.
