I studied modern languages at Javeriana University in Bogotá, Colombia, so I speak other languages as well. I taught English for over 13 years in private schools in my home country and Spanish abroad for 3 years.I had meaningful experiences while working in schools, for it gave me the chance to recognize different learning styles and applying different strategies to help my students improve. I'm traveling in Europe, so my shcedule may change** In my teaching practice I like to include a wide variety of resources depending on the students learning styles and preferences. I take into account the student’s motivation and likes in order to provide a great experience while learning. I also agree with students about the emphasis they would like to have in their lessons like grammar, vocabulary, conversation, etc. I really like conversation classes. Based on real life situations we will be able to practice the basic skills to learn a language: grammar, listening, speaking Reading and Writing as well as learning vocabulary.
