I think the best way to learn new grammar and vocabulary is in context. My students find this way helps them understand the meaning and rules more clearly. After studying it, there will be more speaking practice to ensure you remember it. Additionally, I provide more advanced alternatives to the simpler language you are already using well. I give reading and listening tasks for homework so that we have interesting topics to discuss in the next lesson.
