While working as a lawyer in large banks of Azerbaijan, I used the Russian language at work, drafting contracts, decisions and protocols and answering legal inquiries. Besides, I have obtained my law degree in English. When I was student and I have worked as a lawyer I have passed IELTS exams for 2 times. As a polyglot I will teach you methods and techniques of fast and deep learning of the Russian and English languages . I studied Linguistics (French and English) in Moscow and afterwards I did my Master's degree in Educational Sciences in Finland. I did an internship in Italy, where I taught Russian to Italian students at the University of Pavia, and I also did another internship in Spain for teaching English. I’ve taught over 3,000 lessons to students from 40+ countries, from total beginners to advanced speakers. I don't follow a fully conversational approach to learning Russian that excludes grammar rules. Listening to a lot of Russian (or any other foreign language) doesn't mean you'll soon be able to speak it. I lived in China for one year, I heard Chinese every day for 365 days, surrounded by the language everywhere, but unfortunately, no miracle happened, and I never learned to speak Chinese. The thing is, an adult's brain differs from a child's brain. We have different language acquisition mechanisms: adults need to understand the logic of the language - why we change words in this particular way, what lies behind it, what mechanisms are at work? This is exactly where I can help you. Every language has its own mechanisms, and once you understand them, you'll be able to formulate your thoughts independently without fear of being misunderstood. I compare Russian to a building block set. For example, in English, the word "brother" has only one form, whereas in Russian it can be "брат, брату, братом, брате, брата". Your task is to choose the correct form so you're understood properly and your speech sounds clear and natural.
