Nowadays, Food Has Become Easier To Prepare. Has This Change Improved The Way People Live? Today, technology contributes many useful methods helping our lives better and better. One of many areas which technology helps us is eating, specifically preparing food more easily. So, many people are of opinion that this development has changed the way people live. From my point of view, I strongly agree with this opinion for outstanding benefits this development giving us. First and foremost, thanks to this development, people, especially, house-wives do not need to spend a plenty of time and effort to prepare food. For example, in the past, there used to be many steps to cook a chicken soup such as preparing chicken, vegetable and many other things. However, today, just by going to market, everyone can have enough prepared and processed ingredients to let them into sauce and have a delicious chicken soup. Thus, this development assists people, significantly busy people, in saving their time and effort effectively. Secondly, not only do this development help us save time and effort but also helps us save money. According to statistics, one of products which is cheap to attack consumers is prepared products. Nowadays, there is a variety of prepared food on market shelves. As a result, the cost of those food is usually cheap and suitable for all people. Thus, it is more economical to buy prepared food rather than prepare by our-shelves. As shown above, with the help of technology’s development, human beings can not only save time, money but also reduce effort to make meals compared to the past. It can certainly be said that this change is a silver bullet in our busy life. However, besides these essential advantages this change giving us, there are a few bad disadvantages. The most easily seen disadvantage is that higher fat, salt, and less fiber applied on processed foods or fast foods have increased risk of obesity and cancer. Therefore, people, especially housewives, should be aware of and consider when choosing any prepared food to make meals for their families.
