My motivation to learn English varies over the years. English study has been one of the three major courses for Chinese students many years. We started English learning from junior high school, and the score to some extent determines our exam result. So at that time, it was more like a passive motivation, because I needed a good score, I learned. The first time I realized I wanted to learn English was after I had a job and I traveled abroad. I need to use it as a tool to help me better understand the world. My desire motivates me a lot. With constant learning, nowadays I some time can even realize the interesting points of the language itself. I think the joy of learning and practicability is the motivation can last long time.

I will recommend Amsterdam for anyone to travel. It was 10 years ago when i travelled to Amsterdam. It will have light rain in the afternoon but people still love to ride bicycle in Street because it wouldn't a brothering rain. The day time is long and the sun goes down at about 8pm that people can enjoy more time in the city. The last but not least, the most impressed me was people was so nice to tourtist, the salesman always welcomed with a great smile and said 'enjoy the city' when we left.

Composition: Siamese the Fish Siamese, my tiny fish, lives in his tiny fish bowl. Dad usually cares for him, sprinkling food in daily and changing the water on weekends. But recently, Dad gave me a gentle nudge to start taking responsibility for Siamese's care. Or else, the alternative would be a watery adventure down the drain – not ideal for Siamese! So, I tackled my first water change. Turns out, Siamese doesn’t like being scooped out, so I came up with a different plan. I carefully ran fresh water to the bowl while tilting it slightly. This let the dirty water overflow, carrying away the waste. The trick was to avoid overflowing Siamese himself – a close call a couple of times! Looks like I'm officially in charge of Siamese's weekly water changes now.
