This trial lesson focuses on English functional language for A1 / B1+ level learners. The main aim is to encourage the two language skills listening and speaking. I use a TPR (total physical response) approach when I teach and will always encourage my students to speak as much as possible during the lesson. The speaking activities encourage students to share interesting facts about themselves to broaden the student's vocabulary base.

My lessons focus on the two language skills speaking and listening but can also incorporate writing and reading depending on the student. We will have conversations that are centered around interesting topics to broaden the student's vocabulary base. I use the TPR (total physical response) when I teach which works well at keeping my students engaged and the lessons interesting. My focus is always on the needs of the student in my lessons.
