In this 30-minute trial lesson, we'll explore your goals and expectations to set the stage for a successful learning journey together.

 I'll demonstrate how I approach lessons, ensuring our sessions are tailored to your needs, and if we have some spare time, incorporate a short introductory conversation in French.

1. I do not teach children or students below an A2 level of French

2. I will be following this italki policy: "‘some teachers may include a 5 minute break in the lesson time” (i.e. 30 min lesson will be 25 min, a 60 min lesson is 55 min, etc). The reason for this is because we tutors often have classes booked back-to-back, and need to use these 5 minutes for a short reset break (go to the bathroom, stretch our legs…you know the drill ^^). It will in no way interfere with the bulk of our lessons, and I’ll always let you know 10 minutes in advance when we reach the end, to wrap things up neatly.

3. My current prices will rise in the near future to reach the level of my in-person tutoring rates (which are the ones I would usually charge). My prices are currently lower than they should be simply because I’m playing the algorithm’s game – so keep in mind that this will change, and make the most of the discounts I’m offering now 😉!

4. Please note that as per iTalki's policy, classes cannot be rescheduled within 24 hours of the start of the class. When you book a class, this slot is reserved for you and no one can take your spot. If I were to allow every student who has made mistakes in their planning to reschedule, I would not be able to make a living. I am willing to make exceptions for emergencies, but if not, please book a new class.

In this lesson, you’ll have the chance to put your reading skills to practice! Together, we’ll go through a specific piece of text to improve your comprehension and understanding. We’ll also address your pronunciation and elocution, as well as to try to enrich your vocabulary with whatever word you might be unfamiliar with.
