*Introduction of vowels --"Nekudot"  – more specific sounds of letters and basic punctuation.
*Elementary Hebrew conversation.

--> Utilize the Hebrew you already know to create meaningful conversation with instructor.
*Recognizing common Hebrew words and phrases
*Crafting short sentences using basic Hebrew words
*Guided listening exercises utilizing Hebrew multimedia to help build vocabulary and language skills. 
*Project: Audio recording and editing short Hebrew sentences

Approaching Hebrew Lesson 2: Hebrew Speaking Lab

--> Cultivate and improve Hebrew reading skills utilizing elementary Hebrew texts.  
*Developing fluency in reading and understanding Hebrew texts. 
*Understanding structure of words, tenses, sentences, and paragraphs. 
*Intro and tutorial of basic Hebrew grammar "Dikduk." 
*Utilizing knowledge of basic grammar to aid in finer understanding of texts.

Approaching Hebrew Lesson 3: Hebrew Reading Lab

-Expanded analysis of Hebrew grammar through study of biblical passages. 
-Learning to identify roots of Hebrew words.
-Developing proficiency with the 7 "binyanim" (Henrew word-stems).
-Creating simple and complex verb conjugations, proper noun/pronoun-usage, and sentence-building.

Biblical Hebrew Lab 2: Hebrew Grammar Via Bible Study

-->Delve in to basic modern Hebrew utilizing text, audio, and video. 
*Understanding more contemporary words and phrases in modern hebrew.
*Locating earlier sources of word usage, and evolution of word to the way it's used today. 
*Studying modern hebrew through current-day news and entertainment sources. 
*Building reading and listening comprehension through worksheets, interactive exercises.

Continuing Hebrew Lesson 1: Modern Hebrew Workshop

-Familiarize yourself with biblical Hebrew by exploring essential texts from Hebrew scripture.
-Learning to decode and translate scriptual text utilizing key biblical commentators. 
-Develop basic understanding of biblical word structure, syntax, and grammar. 
-Examining the evolution of the Hebrew language from biblical to modern spoken Hebrew.

Biblical Hebrew Lab 1:  All Inside The Words

*Learning to read "ketav ashurit"-- (Assyrian Script) the way it appears in Torah scroll: without vowels or punctuation. 
*Learning Hebrew cantillation marks "trope" and how it is used to punctuate verses in scripture. 
*Recognizing basic patterns of "trope" punctuation through study of verses from Bar/Bat Mitzvah portion.
