If you have a presentation at work or university coming up, a translation that you'd like a native speaker to quickly look over, or, perhaps, a big English-language exam where you need some quick extra help, a trial lesson with me can be a great way to get that immediate help you may need. 

A trial lesson can also be very useful if you are looking to find the right teacher to work with regularly. It is a great way to see if we would be a good fit as you will get an idea of how I generally teach and what types of materials I use. I will also be able to assess your needs and goals during our trial lesson.

With my Conversation Practice lessons, you will be able to practice English by discussing a wide range of topics based on your interests, needs, and goals. I will help you with your grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary in a freer and more relaxed style.

With my General English lessons, we will cover a range of topics including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation in an effort to build your speaking, listening, writing, and reading skills. I will create a program suited to your individual language background, needs, and learning goals to help bring you up to the next level.

General English

In 2022, I completed a Master's degree in International Relations, concentrating in International Negotiation and Conflict Resolution with an unofficial regional concentration in Eastern Europe. My thesis was titled “Culture, Cultural Policy, and 
European Integration in Eastern Europe.”

In 2019, I completed my Bachelor's degree, double-majoring in English Literature with a Concentration in Creative Writing and Russian with a Concentration in Russian Language & Culture. As part of my studies, I participated in a number of English-language writing workshops and Russian translation courses. Not only did I graduate summa cum laude with a 3.91/4.0 GPA but also with departmental honors from the Russian department, after having to write an honors thesis.

•	Developed and led a monthly intensive pronunciation workshop for Russian EFL teachers
