This is a 'get to know each other' lesson. You will learn about me as a person, my teaching style, and the content of my lessons.

You will also get the chance to ask me any questions you may have about my materials, methodology, and teaching style.

In these lessons, we will decide on a daily life topic (e.g., hobbies, travel, movies, music, social media, weather etc.)

We will learn some vocabulary associated with this topic and we will have a general conversation.

As you are speaking, I will take notes of any pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary areas for improvement. Detailed feedback will be sent to you after the lesson.

Conversational English lessons

These lessons will be mainly focused on grammar.

Grammar topics that are covered include: tenses, prepositions, conditionals, active/passive voice, comparative/superlatives, forming questions, subject-verb agreement and more.

We will not only learn how to form and use these grammar concepts, but we will also learn how to integrate them into your speaking and everyday conversations.

Grammar lessons

These classes will cover the following functional English topics:
-At the supermarket
-At the doctor's
-At the dentist
-At the post office
-At the hairdresser
-At the vet
and so on...

A mixture of materials will be used including a range of worksheets, role play, videos, and more.

Functional English lessons

In these lessons we will focus on the following topics:

-basic reading and listening comprehension
-basic grammar
-vocabulary building (e.g., weather, clothes, animals, food, nature, rooms, hobbies, sports, occupations etc.)
-speaking
-spelling
-writing

I will use a mixture of worksheets, videos, and games to engage the child.

English for kids + young learners

In these lessons, we will work on the four skills that make up the IELTS exam (listening, reading, writing, and speaking).

I will provide you with tips, authentic practice tests, and detailed feedback.

IELTS test preparation

In these lessons, we will work on English in a corporate setting.

We will learn how to deliver presentations, structure emails, speak in meetings and so on. 

We will also learn business phrases and idioms.
