EN- The trial lesson is a way for us to get to know each other and clearly understand your needs: what your goals are and how you would like to learn (formal, informal, more academic or more flexible). During this session, I can also show you some of the materials we will use in the lessons (such as slides, PDFs, books, audio, podcasts, and much more!).

If you’d like, we can also take a short online Italian test to better assess your starting level.
If instead, during the trial lesson, you need to focus on a specific topic right away, feel free to let me know

ITA- La lezione di prova è un modo per conoscerci e capire bene le tue esigenze: quali sono i tuoi obiettivi, in che modo vorresti imparare (formale, informale, più scolastico o più libero). In questa occasione posso mostrarti alcuni materiali che utilizzeremo durante le lezioni (ad esempio slide, PDF, libri, audio, podcast e molto altro!).
Se vorrai, potremo anche fare un breve test online di italiano per capire bene il tuo livello di partenza.

Se invece durante la lezione di prova hai la necessità di affrontare subito un argomento in particolare, puoi tranquillamente comunicarmelo.

These lessons are designed for complete beginners or for learners who already know a little Italian and want to strengthen their foundations. We will cover practical, everyday topics such as greetings, the alphabet and pronunciation, self-introductions, numbers from 1 to 100, the verbs essere and avere, definite and indefinite articles, basic nouns and adjectives, asking for directions, and ordering at a restaurant.

Each lesson adapts to your personal pace. You will speak often to immediately practice what you learn, and you will work with colorful, engaging slides created by me.

Essential Italian basics you can start using from day one

Free or guided conversation lessons: we can choose a topic that interests you and talk about it freely, just like in a normal conversation, or we can use visual references such as images, flashcards, or start from a short video… in short, we can get creative!

Maybe speaking comes easily to you, you can read and manage just fine, and even write a little… but when an Italian speaks quickly, it sounds like beautiful music, yet what exactly are they saying? You miss something every time, but don’t worry — learning a language is like going to the gym. With practice, and once you understand the accents of words and sentences, you’ll see that it gradually becomes easier!
We will listen together to videos, movie clips, songs, podcasts, news, and little by little you will see yourself improving!

Shall we train our listening?

Do you like reading? If the answer is yes, we can then dive into reading together. We can choose a topic or a type of text (a newspaper article, a page from a novel, a poem…) and read it together, step by step. We can also discuss what we read and reflect on it together — on the content, the grammar, and the vocabulary!

For passionate readers

Maybe you already know Italian well, or maybe you have Italian roots and would like to understand more about the culture, certain customs, the meaning of certain gestures, or better understand some Italian recipes. Or perhaps you have a trip to Italy coming up soon and have questions or doubts that you absolutely need to clear up before you go. Maybe you need help buying tickets or understanding some documents. I can help you.

If these curiosities come from students with a low level of Italian but with some knowledge of English, the culture lessons will be conducted in English. If, on the other hand, you already speak Italian at an intermediate level or higher, we can speak in Italian.
