Learn to draw from scratch (or from whatever level you find yourself at). In addition to having been a professional English and Spanish teacher and coach for more than 15 years, I have also been a professional drawing instructor. I've taught drawing in schools and universities for almost as long as I've taught languages.  You are guaranteed to learn to draw within 5 hours. This course is available in English, Spanish (so you can use this as a way to practice your English or Spanish with a native speaker who is also a professional teacher) in Thai or in German (Nicolas is not a native speaker of these, though he speaks these languages fluently).

At both The American School of Puebla and the Faculty of Art and Architecture at Rajamangala University, I held two distinct positions: professor and Head of International Affairs. In addition to my academic responsibilities, I managed the institutions' international relations and international hiring operations. As Assistant to the Superintendent at the school and to the Dean at the university faculty, I coordinated with foreign dignitaries and handled a range of administrative tasks.

I taught Daily and Business English to a variety of levels of Chinese students using Hujiang's proprietary online platform. This prepared me uniquely to continue to teach online with italki.

I taught all art classes and a several social studies classes. I also ran the theatre department and other after-school clubs, as well as establishing the Model United Nations Program in the school. This taught me to be an flexible teacher, able to cope with many different situations which in turn makes me uniquely adept at teaching all levels of ESL students (as all of our students were second language learners).

Design and teach my own fine arts curriculum for 11-14 year olds at one of the best international schools in Asia.
