This lesson time is best for me to assess your level and, therefore, plan the best materials for your future lessons. Once we have established your level we can work together to improve your skills. You will also get a taste of my teaching method.

This course is for beginners. The focus will be on phonics, basic phrases, easy reading and other needs the student may have.

English Basics - *KIDS* *ADULT WOMEN and CURRENT STUDENTS*

Tots (age 3-5) - they will learn basic English skills, including phonics.
Children (age 6-10) - they will continue to work on their English skills, including phonics, reading, writing and speaking. There will be lessons to suit your child to work on these different skills (as per your specification).
Teens (age 11-15) - your child will learn how to write short stories, essays and read difficult books (short stories or novels depending on their level).

Depending on your child's needs, we can work on creative writing abilities, essay writing skills, speaking confidence, and topic knowledge. If your child struggles with spelling, grammar, or expression in writing and speaking, this course is for them.

Kids - From Tots to Teens

*Only for WOMEN or current students*
This course is for adult women or my current long-time students looking for a boost in their conversational skills. We can discuss a topic of your choice. I will present a selection of topics if you are not certain what you would like to discuss. If you aren't so confident, we can explore practice dialogues and phrases before jumping into a topic.

Conversational  - *ADULT WOMEN and CURRENT STUDENTS ONLY*

This course is for adult women or my current long-time students who are looking to boost their overall writing and reading skills. For writing, we will work together to write something, and then workshop your written piece. For comprehension, this covers two areas: reading, where we can read articles and short stories, covering any vocabulary you are unsure of or grammar points you don't understand; and listening, I will read a passage of a text and test your comprehension, we will then cover any vocabulary or grammar points you are unsure of. Anything you learn in the comprehension section of the lesson, we can use in the writing section - if this does not suit you, I can arrange another activity for you.

Writing/Reading/Listening - *ADULT WOMEN and CURRENT STUDENTS ONLY*

This course is offered for English learners who would like to develop their creative writing skills. This course is best B1 - C2 level learners, at least over 10 years old. Students under 10 would be better booking under the children's course unless they strictly only need to learn how to write creatively - this is a specific kind of writing.

Creative Writing - *KIDS OVER 10* *ADULT WOMEN and CURRENT ADULT STUDENTS*

This course is a specialised course to help you develop your acting or speech-giving skills. We can practice using various scripts, articles or your own speeches. The focus will be on your intonation and emotional expression - English is a very expressive language and it can be learned.

Acting + Speeches *ADULT WOMEN and CURRENT STUDENTS ONLY*

Involved reading literature, analysing texts, and writing essays, alongside creative writing tasks.

Teaching English to students ages 3 - 15, in 1-to-1 classes and group classes of up to 4 students.

Teaching English to classes of 12 students, ages 3-4 or 5-6 in the morning and then students aged 7-11 in the afternoons.

At English Excel, I was working with children between the ages of 3 to 15. I taught children how to read, write and speak in English and helped them to improve their skills in these areas and in listening too.
