Olá! vamos nos apresentar, me deixe saber suas necessidades.

Hi! I´m happy you´re here.  When I was a child I dreamed about travelling the world, learning languages, and getting to know interesting people.  And you know what? That´s exactly what I did! Let me tell you when I got a job as a chef on a private yacht, crossed the Atlantic and got to know ten different countries. Or when I almost died climbing a volcano in Peru. And much more! Belive me, I´m unstoppable: during the pandemic I´ve been studing coding, practicing Yoga, and even set up an Youtube channel (that´s the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miRSCMGUVq0&t=10s).  Let´s practice Portuguese while we share our experiences. Everybody has something interesting to share! It doesn´t matter your level, feel confortable to commite mistakes (they´re the bricks of learning) and be prepared to improve!

Recently, I faced a question: how to improve my English pronunciation? I had been felling stuck, incapable of moving forward from the bitter stage know as "the language learning plateau".  Then, something incredible happened: I finally paid attention to the International Phonetic Alphabet. Look, if you´ve just turned up the nose at it, you should know that the point is not the IPA itself but the exercise of becaming concious of each sound individually.  Seriously, it changed my language learning. So I prepared this class to help you to apply it to portuguese. Do you think you can´t pronunce the portuguese nasal sounds? Let me change your mind!

Making Portuguese pronunciation easy!

Sabes como se escribe “hormiga” en Portugués? (Sí el insecto). Que tiene eso que ver? Bien, pronto entenderás! Pero antes déjame que te cuente que desde mis tiempos mas más jóvenes me enamoré de la lengua española (puedes comprobar esta  historia en mi canal de Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miRSCMGUVq0&t=10s). Así que después de tantos años estudiando español terminé aprendiendo los patrones de conversión entre las dos lenguas, de manera que hoy soy capaz de intuir nuevas palabras en español con el 80% de precisión. Por ejemplo, sabias que en portugués casi no hay palabras terminadas con “n”? Por aquí (Brasil), ellas terminan en “m”, tal como alguien/alguém – joven/jovem – quién/quem.  Otro ejemplo és que por alguna razón algunas palabras latinas tomaron caminos diferentes y aquellas que empezan con “h” en español, las escribimos con “f” en portugués, ejemplo hacer/fazer – humo/fumo – ah y claro hormiga/formiga! En fin, Te gustaría Hackear tu aprendizaje? En 3 clases de una hora cubrimos todos los patrones y eso le vá a dar un impulso a tu portugués!
