Intermediate English Lessons for Textbook learning from a CELTA qualified teacher

Grammar focused classes based around the Upstream Advanced textbook. These classes will introduce you to advanced grammar and give you a chance to practice reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. 
You will be provided with PowerPoints and new learning materials after each lesson.

Advanced English Textbook class by CELTA qualified teacher

This is my original teaching certification. It involved 4 weeks of studying teaching techniques and putting them into practice through practical lessons.

My degree was very heavily influenced by my love of teaching English, including modules on Language Acquisition, Grammar and Phonetics and Second Language Teaching.
I was also able to take the CELTA as part of my 3rd Year dissertation and run my own school including designing the curriculum,  recruiting students and planning teaching schedules.

During this time I worked in both Junior High and Elementary school. My duties were to create fun and entertaining English lessons for students to encourage them to use English and give them help with homework, test preparation and interview practice.

This was a private institution where I taught a variety of ages from 1 year old up. I was encourage to be as engaging and interactive as possible and also due to COVID 19 gained experience with teaching online.
