My lesson will have lots of conversation, but do not worry if you cannot speak Japanese well. I will try my best to give you a fun lesson :) Discuss which lesson type is right for you.

Lesson example:
1.  Free conversation (Japanese culture, foods, fashion, anime/manga/drama, slang, hobbies, 
     what is working in Japan like? what is Japanese language school like? ... etc. )

2. Survival Japanese lesson for people who are living in Japan, or who will be living in Japan in the future  for different daily situations, including working, shopping, having fun, eating, and interacting with other people.

3.  Grammar lesson for N5 to N4 level based on Minna no Nihongo.   *you don't need the book. 

4.  Learning very basic sentences for total beginners. You don't need to have mastered Hiragana and Katakana.

Self teaching Japanese letters can be difficult. Printed font and handwriting are often different; there is a chance that learners who don't know the difference will practice imitating the font as it is printed and learn different and unnatural style of writing.

I will teach how to read, write, and pronounce.
Including:  Basic characters, voiced sounds, long vowel, glides (small yayuyo sounds), double consonant (small tsu sound) ... all will be covered.

  Don't worry even if you are a total beginner! This class is for you.

Japanese 101: Hiragana & Katakana

Start from the lesson level you fit. / Requires mastery of Hiragana & Katakana. 

- Step 1 : Vocab & grammar (about 5～7 grammar points in each chapter)
               I will give you the vocabulary sheet before the lesson. Please remember as much as 
               possible. It's ok if you got busy and couldn't prepare, but it will help you during the 
               lesson.
 
- Step 2 : Conversation & listening based on the grammar studied in the previous lesson.
               We will do shadowing. I will check your pronunciation for common mistakes, such as 
               intonation and accent. We will have our original conversation at the end.

2.  You can scan the materials you want to use and send it to me for a lesson.

3.   You can send me the URL of an article you want to read, and we will read it together. Or, we 
      can read news with easy Japanese, and talk about it.

4.   You can share your pre-written essays with me, and I will go through them with you.

・Lessons for people who are living in Japan, or who will be living in Japan in the future. Lesson teaches Japanese for different daily situations in Japan, including working, shopping, having fun, eating, and interacting with other people.
The objective of this lesson is to increase what you can do using Japanese in real-life situations in Japan.It aims to build communication skills for everyday life in Japan.

・The objective of this lesson is for you to be able to use Japanese when communicating in real life, so the aim is not to study grammar, words, or kanji. However, the lesson offers
enough knowledge about them in the context of communication.

・There are 4 types of activity in each lesson: speaking, listening, reading, and writing (Generally there are more speaking activities).
