時折、ネイティブ話者でも意味がわからないことばに出会うことがありますよね。
今回は、最近気になっている新語について話します。

As the expression "language is a living thing" suggests, new words are being created every day in every language.
Even native speakers sometimes encounter words whose meanings they do not understand. 
This time, we talk about new words that have been on our minds recently.

・体たらく（ていたらく：a miserable or pathetic state of a person / affairs）
・造語力（ぞうごりょく：word-building capacity）
・無限（むげん：infinity）

Episode 27：最近気になっている新語（2023）

In this episode we are going to learn 【day of the week】in Chinese.

As a beginner, there're some vocabularies that you didn't learn before, and native speaker's speed seems too fast to understand. But don't worry, let's do it step by step. 
1st time: listen and catch the words you know alreay, have a guess about the content.
2nd time: look at the text to check if you guessed it right. 
3rd time: listen one more time, repeat after it.
4th time: practise until you can speak as the normal speed without looking at the text.

jīn tiān shì èr líng èr èr nián liù yuè jiǔ hào ， xīng qī sì 。
Today is Thursday, June 9, 2022.
昨天是6月8号，星期三。
zuó tiān shì liù yuè bā hào ， xīng qī sān 。
Yesterday was Wednesday, June 8th.
前天是6月7号，星期二。
qián tiān shì liù yuè qī hào ， xīng qī èr 。
The day before yesterday was June 7th, Tuesday.
大前天是6月5号，星期一。
dà qián tiān shì liù yuè wǔ hào ， xīng qī yī 。
Two days ago was June 5th, Monday.

The day after tomorrow is June 11th, Saturday.

latest news (n)	the most recent news or information about something

current affairs (n) political news about events happening now

stay in touch with (idiom) seeing someone or communicating with someone regularly

indispensable (adj) Something or someone that is indispensable is so good or important that you could not manage without it, him, or her
