みなさんこんにちは。
聞（き）く!日本語（にほんご）、学（まな）び編（へん）の配信（はいしん）です。
今日（きょう）の言葉（ことば）は「気（き）をつける」です。

この言葉（ことば）は、日本語（にほんご）学習者（がくしゅうしゃ）のみなさんは、
一度（いちど）聞（き）いたことがあるかもしれません。

日常（にちじょう）で頻繁（ひんぱん）に使（つか）うことができる言葉（ことば）です。
さまざまな意味（いみ）があって、とても便利（べんり）な言葉（ことば）ですよ。
それでは解説（かいせつ）します。

「気をつける」は、危険（きけん）なことがないように、
また、失敗（しっぱい）をしないようにする、と言（い）いたいときに使（つか）います。

そして、どちらの時（とき）も自分（じぶん）と他（ほか）の人（ひと）、両方（りょうほう）に対（たい）して使（つか）うことができます。

例文（れいぶん）を確認（かくにん）してみましょう。

①この道（みち）は車（くるま）が来（く）るから、歩（ある）くときは気をつけてください。
危（あぶ）ないから車（くるま）に当（あ）たらないように、
周（まわ）りをよく見（み）て歩（ある）いてくださいと、言（い）っています。

②今日（きょう）は寒（さむ）いから、風邪（かぜ）をひかないように気をつけてね。
これは相手（あいて）を思（おも）いやる言葉（ことば）です。

無理（むり）をしないで、あなたの体調（たいちょう）を1番（ばん）に考（かんが）えてほしいと、いう気持（きも）ちを伝（つた）えています。

①と②は自分（じぶん）が相手（あいて）に気をつけてと言（い）っていますね。
相手（あいて）に言（い）うときは、気をつけてとアドバイスしたり、
お願（ねが）いをしたりできます。

また、相手（あいて）を心配（しんぱい）している気持（きも）ちを伝（つた）えることができます。

次（つぎ）は少（すこ）し違（ちが）います。例文（れいぶん）を読（よ）みます。

③日本語（にほんご）を話（はな）すときは、ゆっくり話（はな）すように気をつけています。

自分（じぶん）が話（はな）すときに、頭（あたま）の中（なか）で考（かんが）えて、準備（じゅんび）していると言（い）っています。

④電車（でんしゃ）を間違（まちが）えないように気をつけている。
行動（こうどう）や態度（たいど）を失敗（しっぱい）しないようにするということです。

③と④これは、自分（じぶん）が気をつけていることを説明（せつめい）していますね。
何（なに）かに気をつけていますと言（い）って、
自分（じぶん）の努力（どりょく）や頭（あたま）の中（なか）で考（かんが）えていることを伝（つた）えています。

他（ほか）の使（つか）い方（かた）は、「健康（けんこう）に気をつけています」
「時間（じかん）に気をつけています」という使（つか）い方（かた）があります。

似（に）た表現（ひょうげん）で”注意（ちゅうい）する”もありますが、
”注意（ちゅうい）する”の方（ほう）が少（すこ）し強（つよ）い表現（ひょうげん）に聞（き）こえると思（おも）います。

ここまで少（すこ）し難（むずか）しかったかもしれません。
でも大丈夫（だいじょうぶ）です！

すぐに使（つか）える簡単（かんたん）な文（ぶん）があります。
それは「気（き）をつけて帰（かえ）ってね」です。

友達（ともだち）や家族（かぞく）、恋人（こいびと）が帰（かえ）るときに挨拶（あいさつ）として使（つか）うことができます。

丁寧（ていねい）な言（い）い方（かた）をする場合（ばあい）は「気をつけて帰（かえ）ってください」と言（い）います。

「気をつけて帰（かえ）ってください」は丁寧（ていねい）ですから、
初（はじ）めて会（あ）った人（ひと）に言（い）っても大丈夫（だいじょうぶ）です。

今日（きょう）は「気をつける」という言葉（ことば）を紹介（しょうかい）しました。
使（つか）える場面（ばめん）がたくさんある表現（ひょうげん）です。
ぜひ使（つか）ってみてください。

私（わたし）も最近（さいきん）、健康（けんこう）に気をつけています。
ワインが大好（だいす）きですが、飲（の）みすぎないように、いつも気をつけていますよ。

皆（みな）さんも最近（さいきん）、気をつけたことや
誰（だれ）かに「気をつけて」と言（い）われたことがあれば、思（おも）い出（だ）してみてください。

I don't understand why people buy such poor quality items of clothing, wear them a few times and then throw them away. It's terrible for the environment.
I hate the fashion trade. I read somewhere that companies can sell a dress for $5, but they don't make any profit. They're just aiming to attract more consumers to their websites so that they'll spend more money.
My brother's a fashion designer, but I think designer labels are a waste of money. I just shop in high street stores and I only buy casual clothes.

Do you know how to get better at anything? Athletes do. They work with a coach. 

You don’t have to try to get better at something on your own--a coach can help! Surgeon Atul Gawande says in a popular Ted Talk,  "Great coaches are your external eyes and ears, providing a more accurate picture of your reality." 

Some people seek out coaches proactively. They hire a professional coach to help with their resume, cover letter, LinkedIn Profile, and interview responses before they ever apply for a job. These people undoubtedly get jobs quicker because they hired a coach. However, the majority of people wait too long to get a coach, only seeking out help after a period of failure.
