Sometimes you aren't sick and nothing bad has happened, but you just feel "off" or restless. In these moments, saying "I'm sad" sounds a bit too basic and textbook-ish! So, how do native speakers describe that feeling of being low or just not feeling like themselves?

小猫咪咪是一个小小的猫咪。她的家在大树下的一个小盒子里。有一天，咪咪要出去玩。她玩得很开心，跑来跑去，结果迷路了。

咪咪走到了一个大花园里，看到了一只小狗。小狗非常友好，对咪咪说：“你好，小猫，你迷路了吗？”咪咪点点头，小狗决定帮助她。

小狗带着咪咪找到了一个大树，小狗说：“这是你的家附近的大树，你可以在这里找到你的家。”

五百年后，小牧童转世轮回成为了一名医生，名叫做许仙。 

今年，他已经二十多岁，相貌堂堂，医术高明。在京城，他拥有一个医馆，名为济世堂。每天来找他看病的人络绎不绝。人们对他的医术赞不绝口。

一天，他的医馆里来了一个不速之客。这人径直向许仙走去。许仙心里一惊，定眼望去，这是一名穿着一袭白纱裙的姑娘，只见她眉若青黛，皓齿明眸，肤如凝脂，长得那叫一个倾国倾城。要说，许大夫也是见过世面的的人，但这样绝美的女子倒是头一回遇见。他毕竟也是到了谈婚论嫁的年龄了，突然这么个绝色美人出现在他的面前，近在咫尺，何况发生在这在那个男女授受不亲的年代，许仙顿时觉得心都要跳出来了。

发了一分钟的呆，他就回过神来，马上向这名姑娘道歉，毕竟他那么直勾勾地盯着人家姑娘发呆，也是有些冒犯。

许仙问，“请问小姐尊姓大名？ 您今天是有什么需要我帮助的吗？”
姑娘娇羞一笑说，“许大夫，我名叫白素贞，我不是来看病的，我是来跟您学习医术的。”
许仙忙说，“感谢姑娘抬举，可是，本医馆暂时不招收学徒。”
姑娘说，“没关系的，我可以帮您打扫卫生，帮您照顾一下看病的人。而且，我不收一分的工钱。这样总可以了吧？”
许仙斩钉截铁地说，“姑娘还是先请回吧，我这里已经有个帮手了。”
姑娘说，“好吧，我今天回去，明天再来。”
说完，她也没有生气，只是，转身就走了。

许仙以为是那个大小姐，闲来无聊，拿他打趣，也就不再把这件事放在心上。可是，第二天，第三天，接连好几天，这位姑娘不厌其烦地过来央求许仙留下她，她保证，不学医术也行，她就打打杂，而且保证不用管吃住，不用发工钱。

许仙见她留意已决，而且，看她聪明伶俐，手脚利索，就答应让她留下。他心想，这看起来就是千金小姐，哪天干得苦了，自己就知难而退了。

许仙说，“您可以留下来，但是，您要遵守我们一贯的规矩，而且保证每天按时来医馆。不许喊累，不许影响正常的医馆正常运营。而且还要保密患者的隐私，在患者就诊的时候，不许偷听。好吧，我们还有很多其他的规矩，你且慢慢学吧。”
白素贞说，“谢谢，许大夫，我明天一早就过来帮您。”

只见白素贞婀娜多姿地给许仙行了个礼，转身就翩然离去了... …
