Before you take your IELTS speaking exam don’t you think it would be a a good idea to know what the examiners are looking for? What’s the difference between a band 5 and a band 6 ? What do you have to do to get a band 7 ? Why do some people get band 8? What’s the difference between a 7 and 8, or the difference between 8 and 9? IELTS examiners mark your work according to 4 different skills, or criteria. The first is 'fluency and coherence'. This podcast teaches you the key differences between different band scores when examiners mark your speaking test according to fluency and coherence.

关注新闻的你一定注意到了，这个星期，和中国有关的新闻始终是飞机失事。是的，在2022年3月21日，一架从中国昆明飞往中国广州的飞机在飞行了一个多小时后坠毁了。飞机上共有机组9人，旅客123人。他们全部遇难。
事情发生后，全国震惊。医生、警察、飞行专家等纷纷赶往事发地，经过了十几个小时的调查和研究，他们找到了失事飞机和人员身体的部分碎片，如今，飞机为什么会突然坠毁？飞行员为什么没有报告飞机的异常情况？这些问题或许永远得不到解决。我们看到的是，旅客家属的悲痛与伤心。
飞机上最小的旅客刚刚一岁多，她得了很奇怪的病。爸爸妈妈向亲戚朋友借了一些钱打算带他去广州治病。孩子的妈妈耳朵有问题，她什么都听不到。孩子的爸爸是一个普通的农民。这是一家人第一次坐飞机，也是最后一次坐飞机。一岁多的孩子，还没来得及体验这个世界，就着急地离开了。
警察在事发地找到了一个黑色的蝴蝶结，它静静地躺在那儿。这个蝴蝶结是女生收到的生日礼物，很难想象，送礼物的人现在面临着多大的伤心。
明天和意外，你永远不知道哪一个会先来，但是明天总会来，只是如果意外先来了，明天就会是所有人的明天，但它不属于你。珍惜现在，珍惜你身边的每一个人。
