👉 Episode 1: How to Say Hello in Korean

Hercules, known as Heracles in Greek mythology, is one of the most celebrated heroes renowned for his incredible strength, courage, and determination. The Twelve Labors of Hercules are a series of tasks that he was assigned to atone for a grave sin—killing his own family in a fit of madness, inflicted upon him by the goddess Hera. These labors were both a punishment and a path to redemption.

The tasks, given by King Eurystheus of Tiryns, were meant to be impossible feats, designed to test Hercules to the very limits of his abilities. 

The story of Hercules and the Twelve Labors is a powerful tale of perseverance, redemption, and the triumph of the human spirit over insurmountable odds. 

TRANSCRIPT:

Ο πρώτος άθλος του Ηρακλή ήταν να σκοτώσει το λιοντάρι της Νεµέας. Το φοβερό αυτό λιοντάρι ήταν της Ήρας και το είχε µεγαλώσει η ίδια. Το δέρµα του ήταν τόσο σκληρό που τα σιδερένια βέλη δεν το περνούσαν. Ζούσε σε µια σπηλιά µε δυο εισόδους, στην πλαγιά ενός βουνού κοντά στη Νεµέα. Από εκεί κατέβαινε στην πεδιάδα και κατασπάραζε ζώα και ανθρώπους. Οι κάτοικοι ήταν απελπισµένοι και δεν τολµούσαν να βγουν στην εξοχή.

Ο Ηρακλής, πηγαίνοντας στη Νεµέα, πέρασε από το ιερό άλσος της πόλης, έκοψε µια αγριελιά και με το ξύλο της έφτιαξε ένα βαρύ ρόπαλο. Μετά πήγε και περίµενε κοντά στη φωλιά του λιονταριού. Όταν εμφανίστηκε, ο Ηρακλής το χτύπησε µε τα βέλη του. Τα βέλη όμως έπεσαν στη γη χωρίς αποτέλεσμα και το εξαγριωμένο λιοντάρι επιτέθηκε στον Ηρακλή. Τότε αυτός το χτύπησε µε το ρόπαλο του. Το λιοντάρι πόνεσε και κρύφτηκε στη σπηλιά του. Ο Ηρακλής τότε πήρε µεγάλες πέτρες, έκλεισε τη µια είσοδο και µπήκε από την άλλη. Το λιοντάρι βρυχήθηκε και όρµησε πάνω στον ήρωα. Πάλευαν για µια ώρα αλλά στο τέλος, ο Ηρακλής κατάφερε να το πνίξει με τα χέρια του. Μετά πήρε το δέρµα του, τη λεοντή, τη φόρεσε και γύρισε στις Μυκήνες. Όταν τον είδε ο Ευρυσθέας με τη λεοντή τρόµαξε τόσο πολύ που διέταξε να του φτιάξουν ένα χάλκινο πιθάρι, για να κρύβεται όταν θα κινδύνευε.

Yuli：我父母他们说是他们觉得这个像一个任务一样，他觉得说把我养大，然后看着我结婚成家，他觉得这个才是他的一个任务的完成。然后我觉得还有一个就是社会大环境是这样，所以是一个舆论压力。他们会觉得说周围的同龄人特别是我们同龄的那些亲戚，还有他们自己的朋友的小孩，这个年纪或甚至是比我年轻的都结婚了，生小孩了，他们就觉得说应该跟别人一样，就别人这样做你也应该这样做。
June：我觉得还有一点就是中国的一个传统观念就是传宗接代，还有一个养儿防老。父母会担心，现在有可能自己一个人过得挺好，但是将来你也有老了的一天或者是你生病了，那等父母都不在这个世界上了，他们希望会有一个人来照顾你，所以我觉得这个就是为什么他们想要给孩子安排相亲（的原因）。
