日本のクリスマスについて、ですね。

せっかくクリスマスイブのPodcastなので、クリスマスについて話そうと思います。

みなさんはどんな風に過ごしていますか？
日本では、若い人は友達や好きな人と過ごす人が多いんじゃないかなと思います。結婚している人は家族で過ごす人がほとんどですかね。

若い人はご飯食べに行ったり、イルミネーションを見に行ったりするかもしれないです。僕は去年までずっとコーヒーショップで働いていました。クリスマスはいつも働いていましたので、そこで見てる感じしかわかりません。

1つ、日本のおもしろいクリスマスの習慣？を紹介します。
知っている人もたくさんいると思いますが、日本では、クリスマスには、ケンタッキーのフライドチキンを食べる人が多いです。

調べてみました。

ケンタッキーのクリスマスキャンペーンは1974年からスタートしました。テレビCMで「クリスマスにはケンタッキー」というメッセージを流しました。そこから、クリスマスには鶏肉を食べるという習慣が広まり、ケーキとプレゼントしかなかったクリスマスに新たな文化を定着させたそうです。

テレビがとても大きな影響力を持っていたと共に、広告のおもしろさと怖さの両方を感じます。

ということで、今の日本では、わりと無意識に、クリスマスにはケンタッキー！というイメージがあります。

かくいう僕も、コーヒーショップで働いていた時は、クリスマスイブに、ケンタッキーのフライドチキンをたくさん買って、お店で働いてくれているみんなにあげていました。
