Here's a definition of the phrasal verbs listed in the episode:

fall out - to separate. When one thing separates from another thing. Often used with teeth and hair.

keep up - continue.

cut out - stop.

cut down - reduce / consume less.

lie down - to put your body in the position where it is flat and horizontal - like being in bed.

come back - remember

pull out - remove using force.

wear off - the effects of something like a drug/medicine end gradually.

check up (noun) - inspection or examination.

check out - inspect, examine or investigate.

Los diminutivos y aumentativos forman parte de nuestro léxico habitual. Son palabras derivadas que utilizamos cuando queremos resaltar las propiedades de un objeto o fenómeno sin necesidad de utilizar adjetivos o descripciones. Por ejemplo, en vez de decir que "una casa es pequeña" podemos decir que es una "casita".

¿Qué son los diminutivos?
Utilizados en el argot popular como expresión de cariño o afecto ("muchas gracias, chiquitita"), aunque también pueden usarse en el sentido despectivo ("tenía que hablar el señorito"). Según la Real Academia Española de la Lengua, los diminutivos “expresan disminución, atenuación o intensidad. Se trata de sufijos que modifican el significado de una palabra, usualmente un sustantivo, para darle un tono de menor importancia o tamaño.

¿Qué se entiende por aumentativo?
Los aumentativos no son más que aquellos sufijos que “expresan un aumento, intensidad o exceso por el vocablo al que se une”, según la Real Academia Española de la Lengua. Normalmente, se forman añadiendo el sufijo al final de la palabra para matizar su significado y designar a un objeto de mayor tamaño, algo grande o de mayor importancia.
