This is 1-minute (or so) podcast on Survival Phrases when you need to buy some medicine in a pharmacy. We all may have headaches or stomachaches on a trip. Even though you might already know how to do shopping in Russian or ask for directions but if you are not well, it’s a relief when you know what to say to the pharmacist in the nearest pharmacy. (Believe me, it’s on every corner!)  
A piece of advice! Check on the internet Russian analogs of medicine that you are used to buy in your home country.

Encourage participation through polls, breakout rooms, or chat features to keep everyone engaged.

Professionalism and Etiquette:  Maintain a professional online presence. Dress appropriately for video calls, use a clean and distraction-free virtual background, and practice good microphone etiquette (muting when not speaking).  Be mindful of time zones when sending emails and respect colleagues' schedules by avoiding unnecessary interruptions.

Leveraging Technology:  Utilize the tools available to enhance your communication.  Screen sharing allows for visual explanations, online whiteboards facilitate brainstorming, and breakout rooms foster focused discussions.  Mastering these features creates a more dynamic and informative virtual experience.

Building Rapport and Trust:  While physical presence is absent, fostering connection is vital.  Start meetings with icebreakers to create a lighter mood. Use video calls whenever possible to build rapport through facial expressions and body language. 日本では、新年のはじめに初詣、はつもうでに行きます。
人によりますが、だいたいの人が行くと思います。

初詣とは、その年はじめに神社へ行き、その年の健康などを願います。

元旦早朝から行われることが一般的ですが、1日に行けない人は1月前半、遅くても1月中には行きます。

神社に行って、お参りする時は、
二拝二拍手一拝をします。

2回お礼をして、
2回手を叩き、
最後に1回お礼をします。

願いごとをする時は、最後のお礼の時にします。

今年は残念ながら行けません。
毎年行っているので、行かないとちょっと変な感じがします。
