こんにちは～！マルハバ！サウジの日本語の先生、佳子です＾＾
みなさんー！お元気ですかー？日本では紅葉の時期ですね。日本の秋って最高ですよね。外に出るだけで癒されます。サウジにもやっと秋が来たんですよー。最近は、朝涼しいので息子を学校に送って８時ごろにランニングをしています！本当に気持ちいい！学校と新しいアパートの間にきれいなランニングコースがある公園があって、そこで朝ランするのが最近の楽しみです。
さて今日は前回お話した引っ越しの詳しい話をしたいと思います。
まずどうやってアパートを探したか。サウジにはアパートを探せるアプリがあってそれで目当てのエリアのだいたいの価格を確認しました。ちょっと良さそうだなーというところがあれば、そのアパートを掲載している不動産会社に行ったり、直接アパートまで行きました。
空室があるのにアパートが載っていない場合もあります。なので目当ての地域では、車で回って、空室の看板や電話番号を見つけて直接アパートに行きました。ほとんどのアパートには管理人がいて、オーナーがいなくても見せてくれます。個人で掲載している場合はだいたい電話してそのあとWhatsappでやりとりします。不動産会社を通さない場合は、紹介手数料がかからないので、だいたいのエリア価格を調べてからエリアを回ってみるのはいい方法だと思いました。Whatsappグループで特定のエリアの不動産情報を流している人がいてそこから情報を得たりもしました。
場所は、学校から車で１５分以内、実家にも割と近いエリアで探しました。部屋の最低条件は、バスルームふたつ、寝室３つ、窓のエアコンじゃないこと。でも間取りも気にしました。プレイルームと私たちの寝室が近すぎないこと、玄関のドアをあけてすぐがリビングではないこと。デリバリーの人に部屋の中を見られるのが嫌だったので、見えない間取りがよかったです。あとは、周りが工事中ではないこと。夫の仕事が夕方から始まるので、朝騒音があると寝られないからです。
サウジの一般的な家族用のアパートは日本のアパートと全然違います。内覧したアパートの15軒中半分くらいに玄関がふたつありました。一つはメイン、もう一つはゲスト用です。サウジの多くの家でもそうなのですが、ゲストが家の中を通らず、他の家族に会わずにゲストルームに入れるようになっています。ゲストルームがある場合はゲスト用のトイレもあります。また、アパートでもメイドを雇う家族が多いので、メイド用の部屋やバスルームもあります。なので必然的にアパートの部屋数やバスルームの数が多いです。
結局私たちは希望のエリアで希望の間取りでアパートを見つけました。ゲスト用の玄関はないですが、玄関から入ってすぐ手洗い場とトイレが別々にあり、ゲストルームがあります。ゲストルームとリビングの間にドアがあるので、プライバシーも確保できます。でも、ちょっとあまりじっくり考える時間がなかったのですが、私たちの寝室の隣が空地でした。契約後にアパートの工事が始まってしまいました。朝５時から工事を始めるので、毎朝騒音に悩まされています。隣が空地の場合は要注意ですね！


それでは今日のフレーズです。今日のフレーズは「目当て」です。目当てとは①目標となるもの。目印。②心の中で目指しているもの。目標。③物事を行うための基準。という意味があります。今回は②の意味で使いましたが、これはよく使われます。例えば、「スーパーの特売で目当ての品が売り切れだった。」という感じです。
