- Non, tu vas casser la glace, tu es trop lourd, répond Romarin. 
Désiré n'écoute pas et avance sur l’étang… Craque! La glace se fend et il tombe dans l'eau glacée. 
- Vite, une corde, ordonne Romarin, nous allons l'attacher par la queue et le tirer tous ensemble.
- Merci, dit Désiré en grelottant, je vais faire du patin à roulettes, c'est moins dangereux!
