คำอธิบาย
L seems simple, but American and British English actually use two kinds of L, and Indian English often uses only one of them. Indian speakers also tend to put a short vowel inside words like "people", "table" and "possible", and some speakers use a heavier, curled-back L in certain words and names. None of this changes meaning, but it changes the "shape" of very common words: "school", "hotel", "people", "feel", "milk", "possible". What you will learn: • Clear L and dark L • Clear L at the end of words and before consonants • L with a vowel: "bottle", "table", "people" • The heavy (retroflex) L • Double L held long • L in clusters • Words where L matters • Practice: decode the sentence • Listening strategies • Self-check questions to test your ear Level: B1–B2. Self-study: listen, then take the quizzes. Audio voiced with AI from an original script by Dr. Rashmi R Nair.
