18. Ti voglio bene.

La mia città è una città speciale, unica al mondo, ma anche molto simile a tutte le altre. Si trova nel nord-est della penisola italiana, sul Mare Adriatico. Si chiama Venezia. Ci sei mai stato/a?
Venezia è una città molto, molto antica. Ancora oggi possiamo camminare tra i palazzi d’epoca, visitare le chiese medievali, andare a vedere le opere d’arte nei musei. Per questo motivo ci sono sempre tanti turisti, d’estate e d’inverno, in primavera e in autunno.
In tutte le altre città del mondo ci sono strade asfaltate e macchine, autobus e tram. A Venezia, invece, ci sono i canali: i canali sono dei corsi d’acqua salata. Invece delle macchine, ci sono le barche.
Nelle città normali le persone camminano sui marciapiedi; a Venezia camminiamo sui ponti.
Per andare al lavoro o a scuola andiamo alla fermata ad aspettare il vaporetto. I vaporetti sono autobus sull’acqua.
Nonostante tutto questo, Venezia è una città come le altre: c’è un ospedale, ci sono le università e le scuole. Ci sono i supermercati, i mercati e i negozi di alimentari. Ci sono due cinema dove possiamo guardare i film con gli amici e tanti ristoranti dove mangiare cibo delizioso.
C’è anche un famoso festival del cinema e un celebre festival d’arte e architettura.
Viviamo in belle case antiche e trascorriamo le giornate come le persone di tutte le città del mondo: lavoriamo o studiamo, andiamo in palestra o a fare yoga, passeggiamo o andiamo al bar con gli amici.
Ci sono solo due parchi pubblici, purtroppo un po’ piccoli, perché a Venezia non c’è spazio per costruirne di più grandi. Ma non importa, perché alcune delle altre isole della laguna sono immerse nel verde.

Many thought Collins had ended the series after the 2010 publication of Mockingjay — she even wrote in 2015 that it was "time to move on to other lands."

But four years later, she surprised readers and the publishing world when she announced she was working on what became The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, released in 2020 and set 64 years before the first book.

Collins used parts of Greek mythology and the Roman gladiator games for her earlier Hunger Games books.

But for the new book, she said she was inspired by the Scottish philosopher David Hume, and what he described as "the easiness with which the many are governed by the few."

She added that the book will also look at the use of propaganda and "the power of those who control the narrative."

The film version of Songbirds and Snakes, starring Tom Blyth and Rachel Zegler, came out last year. This fall, a Hunger Games play is set to open in London.

えー、他にも・「窓を閉めます」・「窓を閉じます」これも両方（りょうほう）大丈夫ですが、 えー、・「窓を閉めます」の方がいいです。”閉じます” でもいいんですが、”閉めます” の方がいいです。はい、じゃ、31課で、どういう風（ふう）に使っているんでしょうか。え、51ページの７に出てきますんで、 じゃあ、ちょっと読（よ）みますね。

はい、「目を閉じると」。うん、”目” ですね、「目を閉じます」と使っていますね。で、これはじゃあ、「目を閉（し）めます」は言うことができますか。できません。「目を”閉じます”」ですね。はい、OKですか。じゃ他にもですね。えー・「口を閉（と）じます」これも・「口を閉じます」 がいいです、・「口を閉（し）める」は言いませんね。はい、で、あと、じゃあ”本” ですね・「本を閉（と）じます」・「本を閉（し）めます」。これも・「本を閉じます」しか言うことができません。じゃあ、もう1つ、え～・「かさを閉（と）じます」ですね、・「 かさを閉（と）じる」ね。これ・「かさを閉める」は言うことができません。
じゃ最後（さいご）にもう1つ。インターネットの画面（がめん）、スクリーンですけど、画面、・「スクリーンのタブを閉（と）じる」ですね。タブ、タブはわかりますか。 英語でtabs、screen tabですかね。えー、そのインターネットのタブを閉じる。えー、・「ネットのタブを閉（し）める」は言うことができません。・「ネットのタブを閉じる」。はい、こういう使い方をします。えー、みなさん、覚（おぼ）えといてください。じゃ、今日も聞いてくれてありがとうございます。
