こんにちは。今日は7月10日水曜日です。「5分でわかる日本語」ポッドキャストへようこそ。私は日本語の先生、みわです。今日は、「アイス」と「氷（こおり）」の違いについてお話しします。

みなさん、夏にアイスを食べるのは好きですか？アイスは甘くて冷たいお菓子です。日本語で「アイス」と言いますが、英語では「ice cream」と言いますね。一方、英語の「ice」は日本語で何ていうか知っていますか？日本語で「氷（こおり）」のことです。これらについて詳しく説明します。

まず、「アイス」について説明します。「アイス」は、甘くて冷たいお菓子のことです。夏の暑い日に食べると、とてもおいしいです。アイスは、子どもから大人までみんな大好きです。夏にアイスを食べると、気持ちがいいですね。

次に、「氷（こおり）」について説明します。「氷」は、水を冷やしてかたくしたものです。飲み物を冷たくするために使います。暑い日に冷たい飲み物を飲むとき、氷が入っているととても気持ちがいいです。

「アイス」と「氷」の違いがわかりましたか？「アイス」は甘くて冷たいお菓子で、「氷」は飲み物を冷たくするためのものです。同じ「冷たい」ものですが、指す意味が違いますね。

では、ここで「アイス」と「氷」を使ったいくつかの例文を見てみましょう。
	1.	「アイスを食べる。」
	2.	「ジュースに氷を入れる。」
	3.	「かき氷を作る。」

かき氷について少し詳しく説明しましょう。かき氷は、氷を細かくして、その上に甘いジュースみたいなものや果物をかけたものです。夏に食べると、とてもおいしいです。

日本では、夏にたくさんのアイスを楽しむことができます。いろいろな種類のアイスがあります。例えば、チョコレートに包まれたアイスやジュースみたいに飲むアイス、コーヒー味のアイスなどがあります。いろいろな味や形のアイスがあるので、ぜひいろいろ試してみてください。

ここで、みなさんに問題です。「アイス」は何のことですか？
冷たいお菓子
	2.  暑い飲み物
	3.	冷たい飲み物に入れるもの
正解は「1.冷たいお菓子」です。

2月15日から配信（はいしん）されてて、もう全（ぜん）エピソード配信されてるんだけど、私と友だち ドはまりしてるの。

Hey, have you seen the Japanese version of Love is Blind on Netflix?It's been on since February 15th, and all the episodes are already available, and me and my friends are really into it.

声（こえ）だけで結婚相手（あいて）をきめるんだけど、ほんとみんな見てみて。
さいしょは、このテレビ楽しいのかな～？って思ってたんだけど、どんどん沼（ぬま）ったんだよね。

It's about deciding who to marry based on voice alone, and everyone should watch it.At first, I wondered if I would enjoy this TV show. At first, I was wondering if it would be fun, but then I got more and more hooked.

私が沼（ぬま）ってたときにちょうど全（ぜん）エピソード配信（はいしん）だったからマジでよかった。あれ、毎週（まいしゅう）配信はけっこうきついよ。もう次が気になって気になって仕方（しかた）なくて、もう次！次！ってかんじ。ネタバレしないように、くわしくはいえないけど、時間があるときに見てみてね。

I'm really glad that all the episodes were available when I was swamped.It's pretty hard to get through every week. I couldn't stop thinking about the next one, and I just couldn't stop thinking about it. Next! That's how I feel.
I can't tell you much about it so as not to spoil it, but you should check it out when you have time.

ちなみに、その出演者（しゅつえんしゃ）たちの友だち役（やく）で「テラスハウス」の人とか「あいのり」の人とか出てきてびっくりしたんだよね。いっしゅん、あれ？って目うたがっちゃった。

By the way, I was surprised to see people from "Terrace House" and "Ainori" as the friends of the actors. For a moment, I couldn't believe my eyes.

ラブイズブラインドはアメリカバージョンもあって、シーズン1とシーズン2があるんだけど、私はアメリカに住んだことがないから日本バージョンのほうが楽しかったかな～。

There's also an American version of Love is Blind, with season 1 and season 2, but I've never lived in America, so I think I enjoyed the Japanese version more.

九州男児（きゅうしゅうだんじ）っていうことばが出てきたり、日本の文化の勉強にもなりそうって思った！九州男児っていうのは、そのまま九州出身（しゅっしん）の男性（だんせい）のことなんだけど、性格（せいかく）とかをあらわすときにつかうことばなんだよね。もし聞いたことなかったらググってみてね！
