안녕하세요, 여러분! 오늘 팟캐스트에서는 한국어에서 자주 쓰이지만 학습자들에겐 생소할 수 있는 표현
[ -가지고]에 대해 이야기해 보려고 해요. 
우리가 흔히 아는 [그래서, -기 때문에, 왜냐하면] 등의 여러 표현 외에도, 일상 대화에서 [-가지고]라는 표현을 굉장히 많이 사용해요.
영어로는 ‘because’ 나 ‘since’의 의미로 이해하면 돼요.

우선, [-가지고]는 약간 구어체적인 느낌을 주는데요, 특히 친구들끼리 편하게 대화할 때 자주 쓰여요. 
예를 들어, “아, 늦잠 자가지고 수업에 늦었어”라고 하면 “늦잠 자서 수업에 늦었어”와 비슷한 의미지만, 좀 더 캐주얼하게 들리죠.

예문으로 볼까요?
"배가 너무 고파가지고 편의점에서 뭐 좀 샀어."

여기서 -가지고는 "너무 배고파서"의 뜻이에요. 이렇게 가볍게 이유를 덧붙이는 느낌이죠.

"버스를 놓쳐가지고 학교에 걸어갔어."

“버스를 놓쳐서”라고 할 수도 있지만, [-가지고]를 쓰면 좀 더 말하는 사람의 불만스러운 느낌이 잘 살아요.

마찬가지로,
"길이 막혀가지고 늦었어."

길이 막혀서 늦었어 대신, 더 원어민스러운 느낌이 들죠.

Un corvo aveva rubato un pezzo di formaggio e si era posato sul ramo di un albero per mangiarlo in tranquillità. Una volpe, che passava sotto quell’albero, lo vide e volle prendergli il formaggio. Così, gli disse che lui, il corvo, era il migliore tra gli uccelli e presto sarebbe diventato il loro Re: aveva delle piume meravigliose, un becco possente e delle belle zampette slanciate. 
«Peccato solo che tu sia muto!» aggiunse la volpe. Il corvo, pieno d’orgoglio per tutti i complimenti ricevuti, volle dimostrare alla volpe che anche lui aveva una bella voce: spalancò il becco e cominciò a cantare. 
La volpe, non appena il formaggio gli cadde dal becco, fece un gran balzo e lo afferrò con i suoi artigli.
«Caro corvo, potresti senza dubbio essere il Re degli uccelli, se solo tu avessi un po’ di cervello.»

Spesso, la verità ci acceca e ci porta a commettere delle sciocchezze.

As a beginner, there're some vocabularies that you didn't learn before, and native speaker's speed seems too fast to understand. But don't worry, let's do it step by step. 
Step 1: listen and catch the words you know already, have a guess about the content.
Step 2: look at the text to check if you guessed it right. 
Step 3: listen one more time, repeat after it.
Step 4: practice until you can speak as the normal speed without looking at the text.

zuó tiān wǒ qù lǐ fà diàn le 。
I went to the barber's yesterday.
我打算烫头发。
wǒ dǎ suàn tàng tóu fà 。
I was going to perm my hair.
发型师先帮我洗头、吹头发。
fà xíng shī xiān bāng wǒ xǐ tóu 、 chuī tóu fà 。
The stylist shampooed and blew my hair first.
我的头发又长又多，发型师帮我剪短剪薄。
wǒ de tóu fà yòu cháng yòu duō ， fà xíng shī bāng wǒ jiǎn duǎn jiǎn báo 。
My hair is long and long. The stylist helped me cut it short and thin.
我选了一个最近很流行的发型：大波浪。

I chose a hairstyle that is very popular these days: big waves.

The stylist said that dyeing brown would suit me, so I decided to give it a try.

When my friends saw my new hairstyle, they all said it is nice.

From fast-food counters to Michelin-starred restaurants, the hamburger is much loved in the Western diet, but where did it come from?

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines a hamburger as both "ground beef" and "a sandwich consisting of a patty of hamburger" on a bun. Although these might be the simplest forms of a hamburger, the sandwich is often eaten with other things added, such as lettuce, cheese, sauces and even other meats.

But this popular food didn't start out with all the extras. In fact, it's thought that one of the earliest forms of the hamburger was closer to a steak tartare — raw minced steak mixed with egg.

While a recipe from the Roman Empire suggests the earliest version of this meal, some believe that it came from Mongolian horsemen, who would place beef under their saddles while riding, so that by the end of the day it was tender enough to eat raw.

However, others say these riders placed meat under their saddles only to help heal their horses' sores, and any meat prepared this way would be too dirty to be edible.

A later version is thought to have come from the German city of Hamburg, where chefs around the 17th or 18th century cooked minced beef with onions and breadcrumbs. This came to be known in English as the "Hamburg steak," and made its way to the US during the 19th century, where it was later called the "hamburger."

Although it isn't known who first thought to put this minced meat on bread, adding a bun made the hamburger popular as a sandwich in the US. The first fast-food hamburger chain — named White Castle — was opened in 1921, and still sells its famous square-shaped hamburgers to this day.

Now, hamburgers can be found worldwide thanks to popular American fast-food restaurants such as McDonald's, Burger King and Wendy's. In 2012, PBS reported that an estimated 50 billion hamburgers are eaten in the US alone every year.

In italiano il verbo Piacere è il verbo che si usa per esprimere i gusti. È un verbo  irregolare e si usa

normalmente nelle forme:

-piace (terza persona singolare) e -piacciono (terza persona

plurale),

precedute dai pronomi indiretti

io= -mi

tu= -ti

lui/lei= -gli/le

noi=-ci

voi= -vi

loro= gli

Per la terza persona singolare ci sono due pronomi:

-gli per il maschile (a lui)

-le  per il femminile (a lei);

per la terza persona plurale, invece, c’è solo il pronome gli per

il maschile e il femminile.

Esempi

• A Maria piace il caffè. • Le piace il caffè.

• A Ugo piace ascoltare la musica. • Gli piace ascoltare la musica

• A Maria e Ugo piace viaggiare. • Gli piace viaggiare.

per la terza persona plurale, c’è solo il pronome gli per

il maschile e il femminile.

Esempi

• A Maria piace il caffè. • Le piace il caffè.

• A Ugo piace ascoltare la musica. • Gli piace ascoltare la musica

• A Maria e Ugo piace viaggiare. • Gli piace viaggiare.

Sinonimi per non usare "mi piace" in italiano


Mi fa impazzire!= per dire che qualcosa piace davvero molto). Esempio:       
     Il tiramisù mi fa impazzire!

Non mi dispiace=  (per indicare che qualcosa ti piace ma non troppo). 

amo/adoro= per esprimere un piacere profondo).
