È finalmente arrivato l’inverno e questo fine settimana Jimmy ha deciso di andare a fare spese. A Venezia il tempo è molto umido e freddo. Ogni mattina, quando Jimmy apre la finestra, c’è un sacco di nebbia. Prima di uscire indossa vestiti pesanti: cappello, sciarpa, guanti, maglione, scarpe impermeabili (perché a Venezia c’è sempre un po’ di acqua per le strade) e il cappotto.
Questa mattina è uscito di casa per andare in un negozio di abbigliamento. Appena entra la commessa gli chiede:
“Buongiorno, desidera?”
“Buongiorno, vorrei comprare un maglione caldo.”
“Di che materiale lo vuole?” chiede ancora lei.
“Mi piacerebbe un maglione di lana.”
“Che taglia porta?” gli domanda la commessa.
“Porto la M” risponde Jimmy.
La ragazza va a prendere alcuni maglioni di lana di colori e modelli diversi. Jimmy ne sceglie 3 e poi domanda dove sono i camerini.
Jimmy va nei camerini per provare i tre maglioni. La commessa gli chiede “Come le stanno?” e Jimmy risponde: “Il maglione blu è troppo largo. Il maglione rosso è troppo stretto. Il maglione verde invece mi sta benissimo. Lo compro.”
Jimmy va alla cassa per pagare. “Quant’è?” domanda.
“Sono cinquanta euro. Paga con la carta o in contanti?”
“Pago in contanti. Ecco a lei.” Jimmy paga, saluta e felice va via.
