こんばんは！

今回は、北海道の冬のイベント、千歳市の支笏湖氷濤まつりの話をします。

このイベントでは、支笏湖の近くの駐車場を使って、大小様々な氷のオブジェを作ります。湖水をスプリンクラーで吹き付け凍らせて作ります。
 昼は支笏湖ブルーと呼ばれるとても綺麗な青色の氷の像を見ることができます。
夜は色とりどりのライトに照らされ、幻想的な世界になります。

今回、僕たちは夜に行きました。
支笏湖は家からそんなに遠くないので、何回か行ったことがあります。
その中でも、今回は1番車と人が多かったです。

像がたくさんあるだけではなく、氷の階段を登ることができたり、氷の展望台から全体の像を見渡すことができたり、氷の部屋のように中に入れたりと、いろんな体験ができました。

気温はたぶんー5℃ぐらいで、雪も降っていたので、かなり寒かったですが、その寒さを忘れるぐらい、おもしろかったです。

湖の水を使って作っているところも、支笏湖が近くにあるからこそできるイベントで、地域の特性が出ていてとても良かったです。

僕たちは車で行きましたが、空港からバスも出ているようでした。海外のかたも多い結構多かったです。
