The importance of asking questions

In this episode, we take our story into the past tense! Building on "йти (іти)" and "їхати," I’ll explain how these verbs change in the past and introduce other important verbs to expand your understanding.

We’ll also dive into one of the trickiest parts of Ukrainian grammar—perfective vs. imperfective verbs in the past tense. With clear explanations and useful tips, you'll learn how to recognize and use them correctly in different situations.

小天问︰“我喝牛奶，为什么爸爸喝咖啡？”
小天的妈妈说︰“因为牛奶很营养，所以你喝牛奶。”
小天说：“我也想喝咖啡。”小天的妈妈说︰“你喝牛奶。”
小天说︰“我要喝咖啡。”
小天说︰“好苦！我不要喝咖啡了。我要喝牛奶。”

Traditional Chinese version

After drinking coffee, Xiaotian said, "It's so bitter! I don't want to drink coffee anymore. I want to drink milk."
