I admire my psychology professor. I admired her passion for teaching and her willingness to always be available for her students. I believe a lot of qualities aren't necessary for someone you would look up for. I believe that most of the people we surround ourselves with are worthy of admiration, we just need to be better at observing them, and be less judgmental.

You started with present tense but in the next sentence you changed the tense to past. Keep that in mind.
