Many people think that teenagers should be given the chance to make amends and have a second chance. Because they think that when a teenager commits a crime, the teenager should not be the only one to take the blame, his parents and sometimes even society should also share the blame. Well it is understandable. But if you put yourself in victim's shoes, it is never too easy to say "forgive," especially when it comes to some vicious crimes. The bad result(devastating outcome) of a crime would not change whether it is caused by a teenager or an adult. In terms of justice, I support the view that teenagers who commit major crimes should take the same responsibility as an adult. Because when talking about major crimes, we have no right to forgive a murderer or rapist on behalf of the victims. Showing mercy to criminals should never come at the expense of justice for victims.
