My name is Misaki. I’m 20 years old. I will be a third year in university from this April. I study international relations. I left my hometown for study. The last 2 years was really exciting because I tried a lot of new things, such as sailing, part time jobs, and living by myself. At some point, I got fat. Luckly, I have lost 6 pounds from the time.

My name is Misaki. I’m 20 years old, and starting this April, I will be in my third year of university. I study international relations. I left my hometown to pursue my studies.
The last two years have been really exciting because I’ve tried many new things, such as sailing, part-time jobs, and living on my own. At some point, I gained weight. Luckily, I have lost six pounds since then.
Tip: Use “the last two years have been” (present perfect) instead of “was” because you’re describing an experience that continues up to now. Also, say “since then” instead of “from the time” for natural phrasing.
