How to define a hobby? Is it a habit? Can it make me feel happy? When I think about my daily life, the only thing that can be defined as a hobby is learning English. In the morning, when I get up, I open an APP and listen to English audio extracts. After taking my daughter to school, I put on my earphones and continue listening on my way to work. I have about one hour to practice listening before work. Compared to the people who are walking, playing basketball or jogging, I look strange because I stay in a certain place and talk to myself. But only I know I am enjoying learning English. After that, my schedule is full of / brimming with a variety of tasks. But I still squeeze out a little time to watch English videos as much as possible. I always believe that everyone can master English even if nobody learns English around you. A teacher told me that about 20 years ago when I was a high school student. Though I am getting old, my job doesn't require me to learn English. But I still keep it up. I have made this thing into a habit even a hobby. If I wasn't asked to learn English in my teenagerhood, I might not know there was such a fantastic language existing. But after learning English in a wrong way over 15 years, I can't accept the result that after spending so much time on one thing, I didn't get what I expected / wanted. Though a lot of people laughed at me and always said: you’re silly. But I really like English. Fortunately, I can see the teacher is still teaching English in the live stream, he still says the same thing to the students every day, just like what he told me many years ago. How time flies, on the way to achieve my goal, I was encouraged by many respected people, even myself. Thank you for helping me every day.
