In my free time I like to read. It is one of my hobbies and I love reading from the printed page and having the touch and feel of paper in my own hands. The presence of so many books in my home tempts me to do this. With my friends I like discussing books and I often recommend my favorites to them. I owe my love of reading to my mother. Ever since I was small, the sight of her reading has been a constant in my home. The present participles "feeling" and "touching" work better than the infinitives because participles create sense of something that lasts over a period of time. Infinitives do not do that.
