In the example 1, does the to-infinitive clause answer the question of ‘about what?’ while those in the example 2 answer the question of ‘what kind’? 1) This may relate to the meaning of the noun or adjective: "a request to see someone" "keen to get on" 2) Or it may form a type of non-finite relative clause: "the man to save us" "the method to use" "nice to listen to".

no, it's not 1) and 2) it's all "with what aim" a request having the aim of seeing someone the man having the aim of saving us why are you asking this question? to know the aswer
