ติวเตอร์ของชุมชนHi everyone,
I'm a community tutor (Spanish, by the way) on this awesome platform, but this past year I couldn't dedicate much time to it because I have a full-time job, and I lost almost all my students. Plus, I canceled some lessons due to my own or family stuff.
My questions are, first for teachers and community tutors:
How do you approach conversational lessons? Because my philosophy is to learn through a lot of input and speaking, and I'm not certified to teach Spanish grammar. I just offer conversations to practice Spanish. Even though I think I have some skill in holding a conversation with someone who's not proficient in Spanish, I know I can improve my skills as a tutor.
Other questions are:
What would you, as a student, like me to do as a tutor?
It's a beautiful and kind of funny feeling when your students use phrases and expressions that you taught them, or when they start to speak like you.
Another question:
Would you pay someone to transcribe a movie or series that has no closed captions (CC) in your target language? And is that legal? I mean, the copyright thing, because I did some research and I think there's a gap for this kind of work if it's for education.
Well, let me know what you think.
Bye, and thanks for reading!

This is the student forum. You would do better to post on the private teacher forum.
