I ate Korean food at Shin-Okubo. I'm glad that I ate a lot. I want to travel to Korea.
Great - although it would be better to include a reference to time, like 'Today, I ate ...' Otherwise, you could say 'I have eaten Korean food ...' (meaning at some point in the past).
