I was very sick and didn’t know it. A couple of weeks ago, my heart hurt so much. I am a very passionate person, and this has happened before when I’m very excited about something—a new journey, a new career, expectations, experiences… However, this time it was different. I was at work and couldn’t breathe well. My heart had been throbbing very fast for days before, but I was worried, though not too much, and reasoned it to other causes. After work, I decided to see a doctor. By that time, I could barely breathe and felt extremely tired. The doctor was very concerned and asked about previous symptoms. I told him everything I could remember. He reviewed some previous studies, and the treatment started quickly. I was so shocked. I’m still recovering, but I’ve started easing back into work.
