It will benefit the students a lot and it’s a beneficent/virtuous circle. The more the students like the subject proposed by their teacher , the more they will study hard and perform positively in class. Because they want to be praised and recognized. Additionally they can have a good grade. To a certain extent, the love of their students is a kind of reward for teachers. Speaking of teachers, they enjoy this positive environment in class in which they can actively interact.
