Grounded -> based (I feel the word ‘based’ is more commonly used) To screen sth out = to remove (something that is not suitable for a particular purpose) from a group that is being examined In your sentence you only mentioned about choosing jobs that are suitable, so I believe it should be ‘to figure it out’, therefore using ‘do’ is simpler than repeating the phrase. Adjust by -> adjust to To adjust to something means you adapt yourself for it, and in your case, the companies. ‘Adjust by’ is used to show the method or way . I hope this helps 😊

Dear Name I have heard that you have recently graduated from college and intend to find a job in China. Firstly, you should figure out what kind of jobs are suitable for you and you can then screen them out according to your interests and abilities. Secondly, search for as much information as you can by browsing online or asking your Chinese friends, because sometimes what you think or expect is far from reality. As well as this, interview techniques play an important role in obtaining a good job . I highly recommend that you adjust your resume to make it relevant to the various companies and positions you apply to. Last but not least, make sure you wear formal dress and are confident during your interviews. I hope my suggestions will be helpful to you. Yours sincerely LiHua
Well done, most of this is good. However, it could apply to anyone, foreign or not. The question asks you to advise a foreign friend so you might think about: Getting a proper work visa. Whether your friend speaks/writes Chinese. Accommodation - will the employer provide them with an apartment. Should they work for a Chinese or international company. Should they come to your city. Anything else that is relevant to a foreigner.
