Hi everyone! Could anyone help me please? Did I use the idiom correctly?
My job is the best of both worlds, I love it and I am paid well too
Many thanks in advanceð
Hey Albert!
This idiom is used when you benefit from two things that are different. Do you think that your sentence fits that description?
Iâll try to give you an example:
âI work in a big city but I live in the country so I get the best of both worlds: big city life with shopping, theatres and nice restaurants on the one hand and the calm and peaceful life with my family in our tiny house and garden on the other hand.â
Have a nice day! ð

Try: My job gives me the best of both worlds...or, I get the best of both worlds in my job ....

Yes! This is perfectly correct and makes complete sense.
A native speaker might be more likely to drop the "too" from the end of the sentence, but plenty of native speakers would also include it so it is a personal preference and both would be fine.
