It rained all day today. I woke up this morning with a noticeable headache and a scratchy throat, definitely caught a cold somehow! Mom checked my temperature, and sure enough, I had a slight fever too. Ended up calling in sick, that’s the second time this year, how annoying! Mom had already had to take MeeMaw to her doctor’s appointment this morning, so she asked them to prescribe me some aspirin while they were there. Now I’m on congee duty for the next few days. I figure our family’s had way too much congee this year.
