Hello guys. How do you say "hi" in your language? In Sinhala we say "Ayubowan" but usually we don't use it when talking* with friends or others. We say “hi” or “hello” (instead). In the school class room, we say "Ayubowan" before class starts and at the end of (the) class. "Ayubowan" means “I wish you a long life”. Just like blessing and welcome. When we say "Ayubowan" both hands should be joined like in the following picture.
